About Me

Ephraim is a graduate of The University of Maryland with a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Mathematics. He is an active pursuer of knowledge, and loves to build fast and break things. He is particularly interested in Machine Learning, and how to use math in creative ways to get computers to do incredible things.

    Designed and developed an anomaly detection system to locate trouble-spots in Amazon's fulfillment centers where large numbers of robots are failing due to an underlying cause.

    Led project development for VentureStorm.com Designed and implemented the structure of the models.
    The site matches idea-driven entrepreneurs to skilled developers within a college campus. VentureStorm helps student entrepreneurs assemble technical teams to develop business concepts into successful enterprises.

    Re-engineered the web-crawler that supports EverCompliants data-mining tool in Java to allow for more flexible deployment. Integrated open source libraries such as StanfordNLP, improving the accuracy and relevance of data collected.
